The Borough of Keyport is seeking applicants for Seasonal Laborer positions within the Department of Public Works. These temporary positions offer an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on work experience while contributing to the community during the busy summer season. Seasonal employees may work up to 12 weeks at a rate of $20.00 per hour.
Under supervision, seasonal laborers will assist with a variety of public works duties, including grounds maintenance, landscaping, cleaning and upkeep of parks and public spaces, roadway maintenance, and support for Borough events and special projects. Additional duties may include loading and moving materials, trash collection, and general maintenance of Borough facilities.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age; some assignments may require applicants to be 18 years or older. Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, the ability to follow instructions, and the physical ability to perform outdoor manual labor in varying weather conditions.
