Hey Keyport, “DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SCARECROW?”

The Friends of the Keyport Public Library in conjunction with the Keyport Public Library

Presents:

Keyport’s 2015 “Scarecrow Contest” Fundraiser!!

Build a scarecrow to your own personal style! You provide your clothing, costumes, and your creative ideas!  With your donation we will provide the straw and scarecrow support!

Simply choose from one of the 4 tiers of choice below:

  • Pick up straw & scarecrow support @ Keyport Public Library: September 14  – 18, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM

  • Submission  Dates: October 2, 2015, 1:00 – 5:00 PM & October 3, 2015, 9:00 – 1:00 PM

  • VOTE, VOTE, VOTE (for your favorite scarecrow) @ Keyport Public Library: October 5 – 7, 2015

    *Prizes given out @ Keyport Screamin’ Country Jamboree Festival: October 11, 2015

    All scarecrows will be displayed on the library grounds from your submission time until October 7, 2015 – last day of voting

  • Scarecrows will be then be displayed downtown on W. Front St. & waterfront light posts: October 8 – 23, 2015

  • You may pick up your scarecrow at the library: October 24, 2015 from 9:00 – 1:00 PM

  • Please note: Scarecrow supports may have splintered areas.  Decorate at your own risk!

  • The FOL of the Keyport Public Library, The Keyport Public Library, and the KBBC will not be held responsible for any damages, maintenance, safety, and / or up-keep of the scarecrows.
