| Keyport Smart Growth This page includes many of the documents and much of the information compiled over the last several years, relating to the planning process for the future direction of the revitilization of Keyport and the plans for redeveloping our community for the future. Many initiatives are new and presently being discussed and addressed by the Keyport Borough Council and many other parties through community involvement and committees. Some of these topics include: - The Brownfields Development Initiative through the BDA Steering Committee and the State of New Jersey.

- The Areomarine Redevelopment Project, which has been an ongoing endeavor to efficiently utilize the Aeromarine tract for the maximum benefit of all members of our community.
- The Designation of the Borough as an "Area in Need of Rehabilitation", which has been broadly discussed in public hearings and has resulted in a broadened document which includes specific criteria for use of the designation and a Vision Statement that is designed to guide the process in a general direction through selected redevelopment projects.

- Draft Resolution of the Keyport Borough Council designating the Borough an "Area in need of Rehabilitation" (in development)
