The Borough of Keyport, Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) is funded through a grant that the Borough received from the State of
New Jersey, Department of Community Affairs (DCA). NPP offers various types of assistance to a specified Target Area within the Borough.

Who is eligible?
If you are a Commercial Property Owner and are interested in a new facade, awnings, signage, or lighting

If you are a Resident and are interested in a Material Grant for the exterior of your home (must be ownr occupied)

If you are a resident living in the Target area and need home repairs (must be income qualified for this grant)

A major component of the NPP is Housing Rehabilitation, as well as programs that address other needs of the neighborhood.
The NPP Committee formulated a work plan to proceed with utilizing the grant monies. The work plan must be appproved by the Governing Body as well as the Department of Community Affairs.
